Christmas lesson plans of late are more challenging now in public schools. In public schools, some parents will even get offended if you do a craft of Santa Clause, because the notion of Santa contradicts the religious elements of Christmas that they are taught at home. And the ones who do not get offended at Christmas lesson plans about Santa will often be offended by Christmas lesson plans such as a nativity scene. The best suggestion for Christmas lesson plans I know of is to have Christmas lesson plans that will teach your students about how other cultures recognize the holiday season.
