Electronic toys are all the rage, right?  It sure seems that way because it seems like every toy that is on the shelf these days has to move, wiggle, squeal or squirm in order to get the attention of the youngsters.  And the electronic toys that are in vogue today will be replaced with a newer, but not necessarily better gadget in a month or two.  It’s just the way the toy industry works, and our culture is to get all the latest and greatest in everything, which includes toys.  Gone are the days when beautiful, custom made toys from around the world get to be lovingly handed down from generation to generation.
