Yellow says "Slow down", whatyou are doing right now might not be the best thing. Check your behavior, language, attitude, etc. Red, of course, means "Stop!", you have gone too far. A red motivation card can either be the last warning sign or a notice telling child and parent that it is time to make a meeting with the teacher. This system is clear and simple so children will understand the correlation between their behaviors and the reactions. In addition, motivational cards show kids that there are repercussions to their actions, an important lesson that children must learn for life. You can combine behaviorcard circles or motivation cards with the pockets or hang them on a wall chart.
